NEW to TEACHING? This Site is for YOU!
WELCOME! I'm always excited when new teachers enter our system bringing energy, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to our schools. As you navigate your first few years, it will be important to identify some solid resources that
I hope this site will help you in many ways!
As a former English teacher who works in several content areas, I have included many instructional strategies and resources geared towards literacy. Since all content areas have literacy standards, I hope that no matter what you teach, you will be able to use or apply this information.
As we move through the school year, I'll "open" relevant tabs, so try to visit at least once a month. If you have questions about any of the information on this site, please contact me; you'll find a link at the bottom of the menu, under "more..." to do that. Also, if you'd like me to include information that's missing, please let me know. This site is ALWAYS morphing!
Some of us will meet face-to-face, and others of us will be e-friends! Whatever you do, wherever you work, please know I'm glad you're joining the profession!
Best regards,
